The Cadillac Edition is the Only Edition of Patton $ Online in 2012.

The April 12 edition is out now! It includes updated and revised Rotoman projections, updated Patton, Kreutzer and Fenger bid prices, batting and rotation orders, and you can still check out the CBS and LABR expert league prices as well.

Patton $ Online is a software package of award-winning fantasy baseball projections, prices for rotisserie, draft software and advice that will help you prepare for your roto draft and win your league.

The software is an excellent list manager that lets you adjust projections by changing target prices or AB or IP, AVG, ERA or Ratio. Or change prices by adjusting the projections. Chances are as you prepare for the season you'll want to do both. You can read Patton's pitch for the Software here.

The package also includes bid prices for 2012 in roto 5x5 (by Rotoman and Mike Fenger), and Alex Patton's bid prices for 4x4.

And a few other very useful bits of information are in the current update:

Lg1 = equal the prices paid in CBS Sports analysts 5x5 AL and NL drafts

Lg2 = equals the prices paid in the LABR AL and NL drafts.

CUS = equals the prices paid in the TOUT WARS AL and NL auctions from last weekend, including a Ryan Madson-free NL.

Srt# = expected batting order and pitching rotations of each team

The package also includes Excel and Text files, with new prices and projections when new information warrants. NEW! And the Excel files now include Patton's pricing formulas, so when you change the projection, the prices change, too!

Using the Software on a Mac: We wish we had a Mac version of the program, but we don't. And it is possible to run on Mac, using Boot Camp, Fusion, Parallels or WINE. Kreutzer runs it on Fusion and it's great.

Kreutzer also runs it on his ancient (nine year old) Thinkpad with a 17 GB hard drive, because it is super fast and doesn't need a hi-resolution screen. So Mac users can also try that old laptop that's been abandoned to the basement.

Here's Alex on what you can do right now with the 2011 Evaluator:

"The quick, easy, and fun thing to do with the Evaluator is to run various sorts -- by team, by position, by AL-only or NL-only or mixed -- and find out what players earned in 2010 in 4x4 and 5x5 leagues. Sorting by position is especially useful in getting a handle on position scarcity, looking ahead.

The not-so quick but reasonably easy and really fun thing to do is enter the draft rosters of the teams in your league last year. Once you've done this -- which takes about 20 minutes -- you can see the hypothetical final standings (standings if there were no changes after the draft), and compare these to the actual final standing to see which teams helped themselves the most, or shot themselves most seriously in the foot, after the draft. You also can see the "profit" or "loss" of each player that was drafted."
